Fueling Alternatives is funded by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), offered throughout the State of California and administered by the California Center for Sustainable Energy (CCSE). A total of $1.8 million was appropriated and directed toward vehicle incentive rebates to promote the use and production of alternative fuel vehicles. 

Rebates of $1,500 are available for consumers who purchase new Vectrix scooter between May 24, 2007 and March 31, 2009 or until funding runs out*. Applicant and vehicle eligibility requirements are specified in the CARB Alternative Fuel Vehicle Incentive Program (AFVIP) guidelines (Guidelines).
